Wu Zetian Slots

Wu Zetian Slots drops you into an imperial China backdrop where every spin feels like it’s building toward a bigger moment. It’s a 5-reel video slot from Real Time Gaming that keeps the pace moving with 25 paylines, clean visuals, and a symbol set packed with regal icons and treasure-heavy wins. If you like slots that don’t waste time getting to the action, this one gets right to the point - spin, match, get paid, and chase the next feature hit.

The Setup: 5 Reels, 25 Paylines, and Symbols That Mean Business

The board runs on 5 reels with 25 fixed paylines, so you’re covered across the grid every spin. Your bet is built from coin size and the paylines in play (coins per line is set at 1), making it easy to scale up without fiddling with extra settings.

Coin sizes range from $0.01 up to $2.50, and the max bet lands at $62.50 - a sweet spot for players who want room to ramp up when the game is “feeling hot,” while still letting you keep it low and steady when you’re stretching a bankroll.

The symbol lineup mixes luxury items and court characters, including Pearl, Jade Dragon, Warriors, Pot of Gold and Jewellery, Amethyst, Emperor, Horse, Chinese Comb, Princess, Lantern, and Flower. Keep an eye on the Jade Dragon, Warriors, and treasure-themed icons - they fit the game’s vibe perfectly and tend to be the kinds of symbols you want stacking into clean 25-line hits.

Feature Heat: The Scatter Gong That Can Flip Your Session

The Gong isn’t just decoration - it’s the Scatter and the trigger for the main bonus: the Scatter Gong Feature. When it lands in the right numbers, it kicks off free spins (5 total), giving you a dedicated burst of spins where you’re not paying per pull, but you’re still hunting full-payline connections.

Five free spins might sound compact, but that’s exactly why the feature feels sharp - it’s built for quick impact. When the scatters drop, you’re instantly in “make it count” mode, and those few spins can swing momentum fast, especially if you’re betting at a level where line hits actually move the needle.

Smart Play Tips That Keep You in Control (and in the Hunt)

Start by choosing a coin size that lets you comfortably take a real run at the bonus. With only 5 free spins in the feature, you want your base bet to be meaningful enough that a strong free-spin hit matters - but not so high that you’re forced to quit right when the scatters start teasing.

A good approach is to begin at a mid-range coin size, watch how often the Gong appears, then adjust gradually rather than jumping straight to max bet. If you’re seeing frequent teases - a Gong or two showing up regularly - that’s often a better time to lean in than doing it cold from spin one.

Also, because you’re always on 25 paylines, your variance feels more “evened out” across spins. That makes Wu Zetian a solid choice for players who like steady action with occasional feature spikes instead of waiting forever for something to happen.
